Quake Pro League Championship-Final Day is live now, top 6 players left. The format is 1v1 Duel
If you aren’t familiar, Quake Champions is a free-to-play shooter on Steam and, in my opinion the best fps Esport. If you log in now you’ll get a free Quake Con 2023 skin :)
Calling QC the best fps esport is something else. It’s the worst Quake ever released and the only reason it’s played is because Id keeps hosting tournaments for it. The engine and hit detection are horrible. I wish it was better.
Disagree by far. Even Rapha thinks it’s the best Quake
Plus this is a LAN so hit reg is good
Yes, on LAN it might be ok, shame you can’t set up your own LAN servers, making that a moot point.
Rapha is paid to say it’s good. It’s his livelihood.
Lol just let people like things dude. Lots of people love the game 🤷
If we’re not critical, then nothing would change for the better.
There’s a difference between being critical and being constructive
You have no criticisms on this game?
Oh I definitely have lots, it’s not perfect. But I think it’s great despite it’s flaws
Afps is already a small, low budget genre so I try and focus on criticizing things Sync/the dev can actually work on and improve.
Doesn’t help Afps as a whole to be overly critical on stuff that’s simply not going to change rn. I love the genre so, I choose to be positive :)
That’s true, I’m sorry.
I wish they could fix the hit detection better, if not then release the server binaries so we can host our own low ping servers to negate the issues.
That’s just, like, his opinion, man.
