    The complaint includes a number of residents’ detailed descriptions of the ways that chicken farms are affecting their lives. For instance, resident Henry Brewer described living next to mountains of chicken litter—a mixture of feces, urine, sawdust, and other particles—that industrial-scale chicken farms remove from barns and spread on fields.

    As someone with cystic fibrosis, this would probably literally kill me if I lived in that area. At the very best, it would shorten my lifespan while reducing my quality of life. But I’m sure there’s no one in the vicinity who has cystic fibrosis or other diseases which makes them susceptible to infection (/s, of course). CF alone is far more common than people realize.

    Stop abusing livestock and stop polluting our air.
