During the annual humorous TV show on New Year's Eve, the Icelandic national broadcaster RÚV Sjónvarp showed a skit featuring a cyclist who carelessly passes a stationary row of cars. There is a couple in one of the cars in the traffic jam and the duo goes completely crazy because the cyclist dares to drive on without them while they are stuck. “Why don't you buy a car, loser!”, is a beautiful satirical quote that probably serves as an indictment of Icelandic car culture.
