I don’t hate it (yet), but I vastly prefer working on hobby projects
i will waste days on a hobby project and let work accumulate until i’m getting phone calls abt it. lol
edit: I am literally eschewing work right now to instead focus on a personal project to recognise speech patterns of a user’s comments to detect and map their alt accounts across platforms (not lemmy, this is a reddit/discord project of mine)
hey, if you can get away with it, you go ahead and take back some of that surplus value
