I’ll forever have a soft spot in my heart for that art style
It is really beautiful. I don’t think it’s just because I grew up with that style. I just really appreciate what went into it. They couldn’t just render it out. It was all done by hand. The pixel resolution was so low back then that literally every single pixel was significant. And they accounted for that with the art style. It really impresses me still how well they put those images together.
