Summary

Education Department staff were warned that accepting the Trump administration’s buyout offer could leave them without promised pay, as agreements could be rescinded at any time.

The buyout, part of Trump’s plan to shrink the federal workforce, has already led over 40,000 employees to resign, according to the White House.

Concerns are mounting over potential layoffs and office closures, with staff morale plummeting.

Federal unions and Democratic officials have challenged the legality of the program.

If anyone working there wants to go ahead and cancel my student loans, please contact me. We can just blame it on hacks done during President Musk’s infiltration of the treasury.

Surprise surprise, the guy who was already infamous for stiffing his contractors, and then rally venues, might not pay up?! Who’d have thought?

Money up-front, or no deal with the orange menace.

Ah, the old high-pressure-sales “this is a limited time offer” or “I can’t promise this car will still be here when you change your mind” approach.

    What a fucking sleazebag.

I’m almost more disappointed that his voters can’t see what a sleazebag he is than I am that they are willing to vote for fascism.

It’s even worse than that. “This offer isn’t guaranteed, and I can’t promise that the car will continue working or be yours after you buy it. You waive your right to sue me if I take the car back without returning your money.”

I’m reading this as “I agree to quit if you pay me my paycheck for 10 weeks” but they stop paying 2 weeks in.
