Which is usually unwritten but understood. It’s wild that they put it in writing.

Do you have to put the pipe in your crack?
Right, if the contractors looked the other way, I would support that, but I also understand why they didn’t or couldn’t. I would also bet that the roof sign lady, who didn’t have any visible means to climb onto the roof while living there for a year, probably had a number of reasonable people look the other way.
What is appalling is that the working poor cannot afford housing. What is sad is that our society could provide for everyone, but we choose not to. Because profit above all.
Let’s not blame the contractors for a societal problem.
No! Stupid Questions!
They can doubt it and vote, or they can stay home and prove it.
Yet another thing most people would go to prison for.
Don’t care what the polls say, we should all vote like democracy depends on it.
They should be called narcissists, because their “conservative” beliefs shift to occupy precisely the space where they happen to live. If they personally benefit from the status quo, then they must defend the tradition. If they benefit from change, then it is a moral imperative that the world conform to their point of view. A rational person might call that hypocrisy, but it’s not really anything more than selfishness.
If it’s not an argument, why are you arguing? And why do you feel the need to misrepresent what I said?
Forgive me if I don’t trust that there’s a plan to counter what Trump wants, because failure to anticipate what Trump was going to do is exactly how he won in 2016.
I mean, that’s one data point, so take it with a grain of salt.
No, that’s the defining feature of conservativism, and the only consistent value among all conservatives throughout the history of conservativism. Define the self, benefit the self, blame the scapegoat.
I get that it’s much easier to argue with things you’ve imagined, but I didn’t say we can’t, or shouldn’t put him in jail. He should already be in jail. And he should stay there.
I’m saying we should be aware of his plan and prepared for the response. We should recognize that we don’t have a functioning justice system, and that he has far too many followers to consider our country free or just. We should make the utmost haste with his trials, and ensure his punishment is swift and proportionate to his crimes. If we do that, he’ll never see the light of day again, and we will all be able to focus on different threats to democracy.
Listen, there’s no way economy American EVs like the or the can compete with these cheap imports. If manufacturers like can’t make and sell the , then they will have to lay off 00,000’s of hardworking Americans.
And what sucks for employers near the borders of PA (aka “Civilization”) is that they are competing for employees with states that have higher wages, and with competitors in Pennsyltucky who are allowed to pay slave wages.
That’s bullshit. As a wise man once said, “look for the helpers.”
I agree completely, but I do think we should be prepared. As the wise philosopher once said, “In the game of chess, you can never let your adversary see your pieces.”
Yes, but imagine how much better CG and practical effects will be in 20 years! Maybe they build a giant animatronic, fully articulated Ungoliant for the movie!
Am I crazy, or is that way too close to those trees and bushes?
