It’s American cows. The same country with the raw milk obsession. So much fun to be had.
Well, she was an American cow
Raised on bird feces
Raw milk 'n bird flu everywhere
There must be more to life somewhere else
After all, it was a great big world
With lots of places to run toIs this uptown girl?
How dare you.

Edit
Google (aka Youtube) is such garbage…
That’s effectively a deceptive ad for a cover band.
Oh hey new musician discovered, thanks!
I assume you’re joking. But even if so - I still feel 4,000 years old.
Never heard Tom Petty before, but don’t chalk it up to age. I’m just one of the lucky 10.000 today
I really like the lead guitarist - Mike Campbell. He’s always very tasteful. I assumed he and Petty used alternate tunings or some trick to get the guitars to sound so chimey but I was all wrong. Campbell (and Petty too?) used the regular old guitar tuning with usual voicing utilizing open strings. And I realized that I actually tend to like Campbell’s guitarwork and the musicianship of other members of the band a lot more than the songs themselves.
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
Hey so uuuuuuuh if any of you are seriously considering going vegan and not just joking about it feel free to comment or DM me.
While I wish I could take each and every one of you to my local Asian grocery store, that ain’t possible, so this is the next best thing.
Gosh I am so glad the two largest beef exporting countries are at least part of the WHO…oh wait
dont worry when it hits humans on a massive scale the Great Satan wont let anyone know.
Is it really a “wow” surprise for you that this happened when cows are fed bird shit?
and the birds are fed arsenic
and birds aren’t real in the first place
A second bird flu has hit the raw milk supply
Might end up going vegan just to not die of a zoonotic wasting disease at this point
I don’t want to pretend that none of this will affect me, but it’s probably a lot less stressful than for the carnists.
I do wonder if there’s ever a point when carnists start thinking that maybe their animal treats aren’t worth having a new deadly disease every few years
Most of the deadliest illnesses through history are from human contact with animals. The flu and chlamydia come from birds, anthrax from cows, smallpox from camels, mumps from either bats or pigs, etc.
So no, probably not. :doomer:
People were predicting zoonotic pandemics for years, and we were screaming about it in mid 2020. I never thought we’d be so right so fast, but here we are.
Didn’t know flu could be transferred thru meat. I’ve been vegetarian sort of on accident for a couple months now, guess it’s now on purpose.
The main thing keeping me from going vegan is some good cheese substitutes. Love me some parmegiano. Seaweed works for certain tastes, but the Italian ones are hard to replace.
I don’t remember recipes off the top of my head, so no measurements:
Parmigiano: Mince some cashews and Nutritional Yeast. Nutritional yeast by itself is often suggested, but the cashews add a new layer. This is more expensive than knock-off “parmesans” but not far off from an artisan Parmigiano.
Ricotta: silken tofu is the key here. Again, cashews and Nutritional yeast. Blitz everything in a food processor, takes like 2 minutes. Great in lasagne.
Mozzarella: heat up cashew milk in a saucepan, add a thickener (usually xanthan gum and tapioca starch). Tbh this was annoying and I never got it right, so I just buy vegan mozzarellas.
– When buying vegan cheeses, note that they don’t really melt like dairy cheese, especially the “shreds”. Look for a liquid vegan cheese, or introducing an oil can make it meltier. The shreds work pretty well for quesadillas
Awesome! Thank you so much!
Recombination? Never heard of it
this isn’t even my final form
Could the final form be this but not funny?..

What a crazy day but I think it’s the new normal. From now on I think it will be highly unusual to have a non-insane news day. I expect it’s going to be one day after another of an endless stream of bad or horrible news.
They were holding it in under the democrats, needing to pretend that everything was fine, so they’ve got a lot of catching up to do on how bad things are getting in the US.
