When I went to a retirement ceremony for a relative in the military a while back, a nearby conference room was doing a presentation to military personnel on ethics surrounding LGBTQ+, a Biden DEI initiative.

I recall my relative’s friend when we got in the car afterward crying about that and why he’s retiring, etc. Big time Trumper lowlife dipshit.

I’m a straight white dude but fuck sake, it would be hard for me to be surrounded by dipshits like that. To be reliant on bigots like that in battle? We’re not sending our best.

I cannot fathom how some people are so bothered by what others choose to do. It has ZERO effect on their life. If someone else being LGBTQ+ negatively effects your relationship with God, you are the weakest Christian of all time. (And I’d imagine would go to hell)

The same kind of people as those who argue that allowing gay people to marry would somehow devalue their own marriage. Like, dude, if your marriage is influenced by other people getting married, you have bigger problems.

I never understood any of it. Racism, homophobia, any bigotry really. Like… seriously who cares? I don’t give a fuck who you love, who you fuck, what color your skin is, where you were born, or what you have between your legs. None of it affects me at all. Live and let live. Treat me like a human, I’ll do the same for you. As long as everyone is a consenting adult, people should be able to do whatever the fuck they want, as long as nobody gets hurt (unless they want to, of course!).

Sometimes I think only miserable people are bigots. Someone who is truly happy with themselves doesn’t have to put time and effort into hating people for being born the way they are, just to feel superior or something.
