    I didn’t do anything mean to anyone, but, like the idiot I am, I liked one of my main account comments with my alt accounts which got me a three day suspension on my main for vote manipulation (fairs) but then like a fuckin removed I used one of those alts in the meantime which then got me a permanent ban for violating their suspension policy. Damn

          Oh believe me a ban is completely understandable, I don’t disagree at all.

          I liked one of my comment with my two alts, though I don’t even know why because it as was already on 100 likes anyway.

        Though I do think permanent is bit harsh, considering it literally IP bans me from ever interacting with Reddit again. It was two alts :(

          IPs change, so it’s not a long term issue. Also, who even gives a shit about minor sockpuppet sort of bullshit. I’m glad they’re spending admin time on such worthless shih.

            That’s good to hear. I’m pretty sure I’ve learnt my lesson now, though by the point the IP changes I’ll probably have just moved here.

    I was permanently banned for reporting too many bots.

    I appealed and it was reinstated but just proves the point of how bad the bot situation is there that a user reporting bots would get banned by an automated system.

    Fucking clowns have no idea how to fix their shit and only adds more work.

      Oh definitely. The bots there are a major problem, and reddit has absolutely no plans of anything anything about them. Probably one of the big reasons why discussions on lemmy/kbin feel different.

    I got a permanent ban for report abuse for reporting a politicalcompass meme that was only toeing the line on hatespeech

    I did like 5 other reports in the past that all got the post removed

      Same thing happened to an account of mine, but it was r/conservative and it was blatant hate speech

      u/Bardfinn always claimed admins will accept appeals for such bans which are clearly moderator abuse, but they rejected my appeal.

      Fuck that entire site

            It was a meme back in the day and I’m glad younger peeps are using it. You can’t really spell something that’s intentionally misspelled wrong.

            I’m not sure how you get racism out of that, but you should consider lightening up a bit.

          OP used sock puppet alts to upvote their own comments and got a 3 day suspension. Then they kept using their alts while suspended and got permabanned

            It’s funny actually because 1 of the alts and the main account got a three day suspension whilst the one I was logged into didn’t. It wasn’t until I had commented and liked a few posts i logged on to my main and realised the suspension.

            So I violated the suspension before I knew it was there

    They nuke 6 of my accounts the other day all at once then IP banned me. Some of these accounts had only posted one or two posts or were very specialized like Fallou76. No reason other than breaking term and ban evasion…
