Honestly, I hard disagree. Texting is so inefficient. If I want to have a conversation with someone, I just call them. It’s so much easier to just get everything sorted all out at once instead of trying to send messages back and forth and you get distracted and forget to reply. Meh. You can so easily turn a conversation that takes hours, sometimes days into a 2 minute phone call

    I never answer my phone.

If it was non urgent, the person calls once, gets mad for a short while and forgets about calling.

If it was urgent, I’d get more calls, texts, email, video call, knock at the door, mail by post, telegram, stones thrown at my window, smoke signals, naval flash lights in Morse code, carrier pigeons with messages, foxes with messages, police at my door, the local priest at my door, an overhead blimp with a giant sign, an acrobatic aircraft writing a message in the sky or a brick with a piece of paper with a message thrown threw my living room window.

Modern day phone etiquette: it is impolite to call someone on non-urgent personal business without arranging it.

I bet that’s why the polls were so off in the election
