I don’t understand performance reviews, they want you to have already been working at the level above you but they don’t recognize that most everyone just puts in the minimum to not get fired.
With a decent employer, the reviews are for raises and promotions. It’s rare, but there are companies who realize that investing in employees always nets a return.
