I get having a hard day but why be mean and throw it out on others? We all struggle, why make it fucking harder? Does it kill people to watch others smile? Being nice to others not only makes others happy, it makes me happy too. Is that not fucking normal for these weirdos or something?
I would contend this isn’t a human trait, and like many things is probably downstream from Calvinist brainworms in some way; relating virtuousness/“divine favor” with the perceived position in a given social grouping etc.
I’ll never understand why humans find rudeness to be a likable trait while kindness is looked down on.
