Starting on Sunday, China will give all the least developed countries with which it has diplomatic relations zero-tariff treatment for 100 percent tariff lines, becoming the first major developing country and the first major economy to take such a significant measure.

    A tariff line is a product that is defined by a system of tariff code numbers. Countries use tariff lines to classify products for customs purposes.

    so my best guess is it means all product groups currently tariffed at 100% will now be 0%

    EDIT: looks like it’s 100% of products, not those with 100% tariffs. wow
