Personally, I don’t enjoy anime these days as much as I used to 10-15+ years ago when I was a lot more ignorant to sexism. These days I have a hard time watching anime without getting annoyed at the absurd amount of sexism and worse, the fan bases that do all kinds of mental gymnastics to insist that there isn’t all kinds of weird ass sexism going on. I believe the sanitized term is "fan service".
