    the movie portrayal still haunts me 20 years later and everyone i watched it with hated it and turned out to be assholes later; that makes me wonder if the movie could serve as litmus test for people’s empathy.

    Unsurprisingly a little less than half were law enforcement related. The rest fit the bill for people we would guess are chuds. Just from the observed data I am 100% on her side.

    You should either take this down or give it every content warning. Holy shit that woman lived a horrifying life. I’d heard of the movie but never seen it, I had no idea.

    Seriously, every CW: SV, CSA, SV against a sex worker, murder, just… shit.

          I added them to the body before the wikipedia article (which is far more unnecessarily brutal than I remember it being)

          I can take it down and repost with a censored write up explaining who Aileen was, but are you suggesting I need to content warning a photo of her?
