If I block a user should it prevent them from coming up if I’m browsing “local”? There is a user just spamming gross porn…I blocked and refreshed but posts don’t go away from the “local” feed.

It should, what app are you using and what instance are you on?
Using icecubes…on mastodon.world. I think it worked it was just weirding me out and searching google doesn’t bring lot of detailed info on what blocking does. I kind of enjoy just viewing local and seeing what random people are posting but lots of stuff in Chinese and lots of weird porn 😂

I’d recommend you switch instances if it’s all porn and Chinese. Like see where people you like are posting from (as long as the server doesn’t have mastodon in its name)
