Maybe you have a few rifles dedicated to hunting for the family. Maybe you have a few rifles that you shoot at the range for fun. Maybe a machine gun or two just to have one.

Could be, most gun parts actually have a limited life span. Barrels for instance last between 20-25k rounds.
