Picturing one of them showing up to a church mutual aid thing like feeding the hungry and being pissed off that they’re not preaching about the evils of SJWs.
I’m pretty sure the churches these people would attend would be more like the Westboro Baptist Church
I’d be willing to bet those people dont attend church and are in a “personal relationship with God”
It’s just their ultimate everything-proof shield for being assholes with horrible views. Regular conservatives have been doing this for decades, but it’s interesting to see these younger gamer types finally come around to it after insisting for so long they were actually just moderates and that it was the extreme left that “had gone crazy”
I have a friend who’s a preacher in a small southern town and he says that’s exactly what his parishioners are like. There was a police murder in the nearest major city and his regulars asked him why his sermon wasn’t about the evils of looting.
Also have a relative who retired early because of the rightward lurch of his congregation.
