Share the thing you make when you’re hungry, but dont have the energy to make something complicated

I think it’d be nice to have a thread for people to share food ideas, also i’d like some ideas myself

Grain (rice, pasta, steel cut oats, etc) + lentils + olive oil thrown in a covered pot with just enough water or veggie stock to cook the grains and beans without making it a soup. Spices, veg, and sauces are optional.

Cheap, healthy, ingredients don’t spoil, and ready in <20min with about a minute of active cooking time.

Friend rice with vegetables and either tofu or eggs. If I want sauce I use low sodium soy sauce, sometimes ketchup. But mostly just some salt and pepper is enough for me.

Try Tamari sauce! It’s made 100% with fermented soy (Soy Sauce, or Soyuu, is actually made with some wheat), and it has some alcoholic taste that gives some complexity to the taste that at least I love it!

A can or pot of mashed tomatoes mixed in a pan or something with pre baked legumes. Put some spices at own taste, wait until the tomato is cooked, and voilà. 15 minutes or so.

Anny veggie or veggies mix stir fry. (favs being onion; asparagus; sweet potato; courgette; broccoli; but even lettuce and others can work)

Hardest work is the chopping into even pieces. Then very hot pan with oil ginger and garlic and quick 5min fry. Add soy sauce or any other. Its pretty flexible
