    How is he wrong about that, exactly? It’s not like Putin woke up and said “ya know let’s do a war”

      Hakim is wrong in that he blends together civilization imperfection from one country within and being used by the hegemonic white core (Ukraine) vs another country which has been a decades long victim of Imperialist mass murder and bloodthirst (Russia).

      By throwing ones hands up and claiming that they are “both capitalist” is an idealist analysis, as it is abstracting the conception of capitalism from reality and then claiming it to be universal across these nations -

      But it is not!

      As I said, materially, Russia is not a white country as in, it is materially not part of the white hegemonic core, in fact it is it’s existential enemy.

      What Hakim did, on purpose or not (likely just a incorrect dialectical analysis), whitewashes the American death machine.

      It’s unfortunate, but Hakim’s “both are capitalist” take is CIA propaganda.
