I’m probably in the minority on this one, but I loved Prometheus and definitely want to learn more about the engineers and seeding life on planets. I found its lore very original and intriguing

I’ll join you in that minority. Really enjoyed the new films in this universe.

You have my axe on this one! I saw it twice in the cinema when it came out.

While there are few things to find disappointing about covenant, for it was the attempt to put Prometheus aside and give the fans the Xeno they always want.

100% agree. The reason I love the xenomorph is because it’s so alien. A creature that has two beings in a single life form. Weird and strange.

I know it’s Ridley’s franchise but I didn’t like the way he tried to create a backstory. I don’t want it explained thank you, I’m happy enough that they’re instinct driven killing machines.

Honestly, if they don’t treat it as a cash grab, I’d love it. Examining and exploring villains gives us tools to learn from the worst parts of ourselves in a safe way. I tend to look at villains as cautionary tales of beings blindly following their natures or doing horrible things to achieve a goal they believe in. I believe there is always value in that.
