I thought Brexit was setting this country back to the 1950s not the 1990s. The document also recommends using 1024-bit RSA encryption and the SHA-1 hashing algorithm, which are both outdated and vulnerable to cyber-attacks. Which will be great for the British phishing industry. Netscape should not be the standard of encryption that the world is working towards. Netscape was a horrible browser that loaded slowly. You’d be up all night and only see a foot. They also said we should listen to music on Winapp and use Altervista to search. This is what happens when you mix technology and politics and have nobody in the room that understands the internet. If I was being generous I’d say they just copy/pasted that bit from an older doc, or if I was feeling cynical I’d say it has taken them that long to iron out the deal. You decide.
