Could be worse, like in Poland, where the son of main editor of Capital (Ozjasz Szechter) became the most influental and successful anticommunist propagandist and the leading lib of entire country and is still at it, for 56 years, which is longer than socialism existed in Poland (Adam Michnik).

Came here to say this. Joe and Pete, by all accounts, had a loving relationship up until the formers death. It seems Joe was more of a stuffy academic than radical and most people say he barely discussed current politics.

Kamala’s father was basically estranged all her life, not involved at all enough to disown her. He criticised her joking about being from Jamaica when asked about marijuana, when she was in fact a huge cop ruining people’s lives over it. So correct take but supposedly not great dad.

Just goes to show that you should love your children else they could become cops

My prediction is they’re going to pick Mark Kelly because he’s a relatively safe and likable white guy from a swing state. Buttchug is annoying, unlikable, and has a piss poor record as Transport Secretary. They might also try Whitmer, but I think that’s less likely.

The coconut tree phrasing was a clever way to use/reference the concept of the slur “coconut” and maybe some of you libs should do a bit of research before you add this one to your vernacular. It’s one thing between members of a minority group to use it, like “uncle tom” or similar, but if you’re white you should probably knock that shit off. I’ve been seeing this shit all day and it’s fucking whack.
