His statement that ad-block users are pirates is on so many levels wrong which makes me question his expertise on lots of topics.

The purpose of his channel is to make money. Not spread any sort of awareness about what would be generally good for “consumers”.
His attitude towards Linux makes it very clear how much of an expert he is of the more social and economic issues with computing being a monopoly of a handful of corporations.
