GPL is quite straight forward, with binary there must source. They cannot change the license. RHEL is fighting against windmills here.
And they’ve not broken that, RHEL subscribers continue to get access to the source. It’s everyone else they’ve shafted.

IBM bought RedHat a few years back. Been going downhill ever since.
when upstream becomes openly hostile to downstream, it might be time to do something funadamentally different.
this is a “they’re just not into to you” moment and I cannot see this very rocky path ending well.
