    My favorite is when you finally relent, answer the phone and they’re hyper distracted, trying to ‘fit in’ a phone call during their day

    “Oh, hi Mark”

    “Hey do yo- hold on” sounds of keys, phone put down, grocery bags rustling

    “…”

    Like bruh. You called me, because you felt this warranted 1:1 attention for a conversation. I didn’t sign up for your organic ‘hold music’ via foley session.

      I barely like the sound of my own voice or looking in the mirror. I sound much better in my head. That’s why I write damnit.

    It’s too bad 90% of calls these days are spam. Even if it’s a number I recognize, it could still be a scammer spoofing a legitimate number. That happened to me earlier this week when someone spoofed my credit union’s number and was trying to get me to give them all my money (they failed).

    Am I weird for liking it better when people call me? Usually takes less time and effort to discuss something over the phone imo

    I facetime without warning and comment if they are unprepared. I love seeing their scared faces.

    just don’t answer and you can find out whatever when I next see you or maybe I will email. you could always text me but im going to respond with reply in my email and you are going to get so many texts of the email text. like my footer…
