    I’m torn on this. On the one hand, nobody wants a messy situation in a nuclear state. On the other hand, Putin is dangerous and imo needs to go.

    I’d love to see some sort of transition to a real democracy over there, but that’s just not going to happen while the oligarchs have so much power. For now, I just hope for an end to the fighting in Ukraine and reduced tensions between Russia and Western countries.

      Putin is a lesser danger to the world than NATO, USA’s personal international army, that it is pumping through Ukraine to fight a war against Russia to Balkanise it. NATO needs to be demolished as fast as possible, and Zelensky and his oligarchic acolytes thrown out to prevent a WW3.

      This entire war is NATO’s doing due to “east expansion”, something John Mearsheimer highlighted well enough in his lecture in 2015. The leaked call between Victoria Nuland and Pyatt, and the 2014 Maidan coup tells us all we need to know.
