And how exactly is it supposed to get into Gaza when Israel has already proven it will target aid groups there?

The US is building a floating pier and it’s manned by US military. Israel is bloodthirsty but even they aren’t stupid enough to target US soldiers.
Everything is going through Israeli “security checkpoints” both in Turkey, and again once the aid enters Gaza. Israel should not be involved in any way.
I get what you’re saying but I think having them involved seriously reduces the chances of a friendly fire incident.
