Basically, they’ve just increased corporate profit margins. While disincentivizing companies from accepting reusable containers because then they would make less money. Brilliant.

oh cool, a convenience tax, that inconveniences people who’re tight on their money.
Even worse than that. It funnels money right to corporations that make the least green packaging decisions! It by very principle fails to be a green law and is yet another tax on the poor.
