Australia… or whatever it would have been named, would have been a patchwork of dictatorships like we see in resource rich parts of Africa. It’s actually really unusual that Australia didn’t end up that way.
As an Australian I sometimes wonder what this place would be like if there hadn’t been genocide and institutional racism for 200 years.
