I’m a person living in a rural area and have to either go by train, the nearest station being 15 mins away by car and the trains having a schedule that keeps fluctuating.

Or have to go by car where it takes 60 mins to get where I need to go. I wouldn’t want to get a late pickup or anything outrageous just something to get me places.

I’m not a car enthusiast or anything like that.

    I’m in a somewhat rural area, but I’m a shut-in w/o a license or much money.

If wanted a car, I’d probably go for something like a Kei-truck for the utility/efficiency/value. Especially converting it to electric. (I’d get a Kei-van if I had friends). Also, NotJustBikes approves (see 7:35)

I have a cheap-but-has-gears compact ebike and live close to a trail, but honestly I use it for the outdoor activity first as the distance is annoying for a round-trip and there isn’t much around especially me lacking a bike mirror and mobile GPS. Plus I do decide if I go based on weather.
