If I want to shoot my wife a picture/gif/video I find through telegram, there doesn’t seem to be a nice way to do it. I know there’s going to be a lot of comparisons being made, but the android app Relay had it down. It didn’t permanently download anything to my phone, just a temporary download to send and then it was gone. The same process for any media.
That was the best part about Sync. I could annoy people with stupid memes by sending them directly instead of having to link to them or download them.
Relay was top tier with this, imo. I just want to be able to share things in a fluid manner. Might not happen for a while though, and I get that app development isn’t easy. Just wanted to voice my request.
Yup, sync is unparalleled. I wish we’d have the functionality here, such a well-rounded and polished app. But well, we’re at version 0.0.33 alpha, so I guess a bunch of features are yet to come.
Not sure how often Jerboa gets built, but this seems to becoming down the pipe eventually.
