  • The Institute for the Study of War backs up Kyiv’s claims, saying Ukraine captured “multiple settlements” along the frontline over the weekend
  • On Saturday, President Zelensky acknowledged that the long-awaited counter-offensive was under way

                  It’s almost like you don’t understand this whole federation thing.

                  If you defederate from communists it just means that you don’t see their posts. Other people do though.

                  When people defederate others with the goal of political manipulation (as you are implying is a good thing) it means that communists get to refute your comments and you don’t see them, but others do.

                  All you do is take yourselves out of the conversation.

      It’s not like these old users were not fighting to protect your freedom of speech, by creating an open-source federated social network or anything. Yet you use that same freedom of speech they enabled for you against them on the same platform they created. Everyone here will fight for your right to do so, btw, but I just wanted to point that out.
