Little over 3 months to go! Going to boot up Cyberpunk and start a brand new play through soon in anticipation.
I have been holding off playing the base game ever since launch. I wanted to wait for the bugs, patches to be in first. Then I waited so long already, I figured I wait for the enhancements as well for ps5. This dlc looks to be paid, so, are we at the definitive version for the base game yet?
I played through it on my Xbox a few months back (picked it up during one of the sales). The base / main game does still have some glitches and bugs every now and then.
For the most part thought the game is gorgeous, fun and the gameplay/atmosphere outweigh a lot of those other oddities.
No regrets on the purchase. Hopefully with this they worked out some additional kinks.
Base game is 50% off on steam. Worth it?

I’d say it’s better to buy direct from CDPR, on GOG. You typically get more benefits that way.
Edit: It’s half price on GOG also. However, it looks like the expansion is separate - this is different to what they did with the Witcher games, where the expansions ended up included with the purchase and you were eventually upgraded to the GOTY edition when that came out.
However, GOG has no DRM, so that’s a big bonus.

I am a patient gamer and haven’t started on Cyberpunk 2077 yet. Is 1.7 releasing together with Phantom Liberty or are these 2 not connected with each other at all?
Here’s hoping they can reach the initial vision of the game!
