So what are you Pathfinder players/dms been up to? Running any adventure paths? Whats your character’s build/concept? 1st edition or 2nd edition? Just wanted to make a post for a general discussion.

Hey. My group and I just started out with the Beginner Box and currently I am prepping the Kingmaker P2 Adventure Path. I yet have to play it as a Player though.

I love that its great at having explicit rules and codifying things that I had to come up with rulings on the fly in other Systems.

Currently running the 1e Kingmaker path, and ive only seen good things about the 2e remake. Its been the most fun me and my friends have had playing a ttrpg. Wish you guys luck!

Also more evidence on how good the Beginner Box is at bringing in new players.

Oh yeah, the Beginner Box is superb. 5e was lousy in that regard.

I played the cRPG version of Kingmaker and loved it. Then I presented my players some pitches (including one for Kingmaker P2) and everyone was on board with it. I am very eager to found out how the Kingdom Management feels at the table.

Wish you and your group also best of luck with continuing Kingmaker!

I’ve read through the Beginner Box, but I haven’t run it yet. I know there’s no required order, but most things I’ve read point toward Trouble in Otari after the Beginner Box. Any reason you went to Kingmaker?

Yeah its recommended as an extension to run Troubles in Otari, same location but more Stuff to do for the Players; a small Sandbox so to speak.

I had previously played Kingmaker on PC and I loved it, and I loved the idea that you can have that Kingdom Building at the Table, I was intruged and psyched. So I pitched several Ideas about what to play after Menance under Otari, Including but not limited: something homebrewed after the Beginner Box (where did the Goblins got the Egg from?), Abomination Vault, Kingmaker, Mummys Mask (I listened to the Pathfinder Legends Audiodramas regarding that AP) and also Trouble in Otari. Mummys Mask and Kingmaker tied so I picked Kingmaker as I hoped to run it anyway :)

I’ve also started playing Kingmaker on PC, and that may be the first path I do as well. We’ll see how the Beginner box goes.

And thanks for mentioning the audio dramas. I had no idea those existed, but they look excellent! I think I’ll try them out.

I think its a pity that there are only two APs made by Pathfinder Legends. I really love the Voice Cast :)
