That’s fair, Audiobooks were absolutely killer for me in restarting reading as an adult. I’m a pretty slow print reader, and the frustrations of that combined with general lack of adult free time really stifled my reading till I started to use overdrive to get audiobooks from the library.
I’m also a bit of a slow reader. I enjoy podcasts, I even enjoy radio drama podcasts, but I tried listening to an audio book the last time I had a 2hr drive and almost fell asleep at the wheel. I honestly wish I could listen to audiobooks, with working all day, I don’t have the attention to read on the bus home, and when I get home I really don’t have energy for reading.
