The NYT is xenophobic against a lot of groups. And they call themselves a ‘liberal’ paper? They are quite conservative on both economics, minorities and other nationalities. In my eyes, the difference between them and right-wingers is non-existant upon practical application.
To use the international definition, Liberals are conservative. Liberal means right wing, pro capitalist, pro wage slavery, pro landlordism, pro free market. The Australian right wing party for example, is the liberal party. Reagan and Thatcher are liberals.
