The Cowessess First Nation in Saskatchewan says they have uncovered the "horrific and shocking discovery of hundreds of unmarked graves" at the site of the former Marieval Indian Residential School.
I thought this was a report about the hundreds of graves they found a few weeks ago. But in fact its a different “school” (reeducation camp really) in a completely different place.
There needs to be an international investigation into the Canadian genocide. Many of the victims are still alive, and the state is clearly committed to hide these atrocities.
I really hope something comes from this that goes past the news too. Trudeau’s govt constantly does lip service to first nations peoples, while currently hiding atrocities committed against them.
