They probably don’t have enough users for yt to care. Also they often change their api and stuff so newpipe and ty-dlp don’t work for a while, until the next update :)
I don’t see how it can be illegal to use a website through a program instead of a browser.

If you don’t sign up for a google account, then you’re not agreeing to any terms and you can still use the site, right?
