I’m talking about deeply held beliefs you have that many might disagree with here or deem to be incompatible with Marxist ideology. I’m interested because I doubt everyone here is an ideological robot who all share the same uniformity in belief

I’m not Italian but i am and have been for many years of the firm opinion that Sardinia and Corsica belong together under one state, ideally together with Italy, if for no other reason than that it would look better on a map. The fact that they are separated between two different countries is an aesthetic abomination.

Also, while we’re on the topic, “microstates” of the likes of Liechtenstein, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, etc. should not exist and must be wiped off the map.

Furthermore, islands should never be divided.

the 3 of your opinions are based, if we want to use that term, i believe there should be a “latin confederation” of sorts inside of a socialist world republic or an european socialist union, with great autonomy for the people of Corsica and Sardinia, being colonized for centuries and -at least in the case of sardinia- being foced to host millions of upper class anglo and european tourist yearly, that deserves retribution man (aside the fact that Sardinia is a NATO base posing as an island) also there are many liberation movements that have been and are active in those zones, one of them, barbagia rossa (red barbagia) supported by none other than MR. feltrinelli, the founder of the biggest or second biggest italian book publishers.

edit. also sardinia is already an autonomous region of Italy, but being that Italy is a capitalst nation, it only translates in less national taxes, so it encourages finance and speculative building capital to move over there and wreck the island

Just to be clear i haven’t given these things much thought from a political or ideological perspective, i was making a statement purely based on the aesthetics of the borders on a map, as such my opinions on this should not be taken too seriously.
