The situations aren’t even in the same league. Trump straight up stole documents, then did everything in his power to keep them including causing his lawyer to commit perjury. Then he’s been using this one judge, Judge Cannon, who kept making rulings with no basis in law to interfere with the investigation into him. And he appears to have stolen so many highly sensitive documents that it was hard not to notice that something was awry.

Compare that with Biden, who brought all this to the attention of the proper authorities and is actively cooperating. The various classification authorities involved didn’t even know these had gone missing. That’s the difference between Trump, a president who actively does wrong then blames everyone else, and Biden, a president who is not perfect but at least attempts to do the right thing.

Amateurs. Wałęsa displaced like half of entire UOP archive for 2 years, and after its return significant part of it was missing (notably everything that could be used against solidarność members and catholic priests).

LOL. Say what you will about the US government, but they looooove their archiving and libraries.

I’m just worried that our fine and honest government will be influenced by corporate think tanks and foreign interests now that they’ve seen some documents.

Right, Biden just keeps randomly finding secret documents all over the place all of a sudden. The real question is what was he doing with these documents in the first place. Saying he’s cooperating now is like saying that if I stole a bunch of stuff and then my lawyer advised me to give it back then it makes the whole thing ok.
