Why do I get the impression that they think saying stuff like “I think the Uyghur genocide isn’t happening” is “calling for genocide”? I’ve never seen any ML actually condoning a genocide they actually think happened.
I kinda get it. Nazis will deny that the holocaust happened after all, but if you press them long enough they’ll eventually admit that it did happen and it didn’t go far enough.
Still infuriating though. It quite clearly isn’t the same thing.
Personally, I don’t think I’ve ever actually met an actual heil hitler type Nazi that was also an actual holocaust denier. They all go straight into defending it and trying to bring up race “”“science”“” and how killing the jews would make humanity better. No shame whatsoever.
