    Just a reminder,
    the US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and all other nations of South and North America are
    what South Africa would have been if the apartheid government would have eliminated the ANC.

    Choosing Japan, Estonia, Latvia or even France over the Anglo-Empire nations is not understanding the type of world we live in today.

        What @Ghost of Faso is saying was not I meant, although that counts, but I was more referring towards the idea that US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand are simply geno-colonies.
        What I argue as that colonizers declaring independence from their former empire does not make the country colonial free.

        When did Zimbabwe stop being a colony, 1965 or 1980?
        When did South Africa, 1931, 1961 or 1994?

        My view is the latter on both of them.
        I find it really odd to consider Rhodesia 1965 to be colonial free when it was ruled by supporters of the greatest colonizer of the African continent.
