Because the CS faculty at my university is insanely competitive (to be fair it’s one of the best in Canada) and you need like high 70s to low 80s in your 30 most recent credits to get in, and my university is also notorious for not being easy to get high percentage points per grade distribution policy.

why do your marks matter for enrolling in additional courses tho?
