minus-square@pingvenolink2•2 years agoSure, but that has only been over the past couple of years. As a long term trend, gun deaths are down, especially from the 90’s. Same with crime in general. The COVID-19 period has seen an uptick in violence, and experts are debating as to why.
Looks like this is mostly because of a drop in motor vehicle fatalities if you’re looking solely at long-term trends.
