I’m running a similar script, and it’s great. Takes a minute to find less popular films, but broadly works fine.
I made another which accepts btfs for distros which don’t have peerflix in the package manager.

And another to search for torrents to download (but not immediately play).
(requires transmission-cli and you’ll need to change the directory in the last line to somewhere transmission can write)
