The US may have the world's most powerful military, but the dollar is its greatest weapon. Now, after nearly 80 years of dollar dominance, the US might be in danger of losing its global reserve currency status.
Unfortunately, Canada is joined at the hip with US both economically and culturally. Until US implodes there’s no prospect of Canada having an independent policy that’s in the interest of its own people.
Sad but true. I feel like even 100% of the Canadian population supported socialism (hell, or even something simple like not hating China), the US would have none of that and literally nothing of value can be accomplished in Canada.
