Non-consensual deepfake videos, that humiliate and demean women, are racking up millions of views on mainstream porn sites. Nothing is being done about them

I’m uncertain if deepfake porn should be banned; it’s already difficult to enforce copyright on the internet, because it’ll just get redistributed.

Similarly, it would be impossible to enforce restrictions on deepfake porn; because it can easily be redistributed.

    yep, enter the post-truth era where you can’t prove anything. era where you can’t trust any of your senses, aside from the gut maybe.
