What are some of you folks using? I’m using MAL and only recently discovered they were open source, but couldn’t find anything on anilist’s website. Does anyone have a primary list and a backup list? I see this is a big discussion online and want some Lemmy opinions!
I’ve used MAL for two years, then it went down for a week and I decided to move to AniList. I have to say, I liked MAL’s “old school” design - and I probably like it way more than AniList’s. But AniList has great support and offers a cool graphql API which is relatively easy to understand and doesn’t break every now an then. Plus has some nice stats that are easy to reach in the site. One thing I liked about MAL a lot, is that it silently logs when you watched a specific episode. This info is well buried into some sub-menu but it’s there
